EXODUS 33:11

I use FaceTime a lot to talk with my parents and let them see my kids and how fast they are growing up. We love being able to not only talk but to see their expressions and talk face to face.

Moses had something like this as his way of communicating with God, it was called the tent of meeting…

Thus the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses turned again into the camp, his assistant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent.

This is where he met with God. And he did it so often he knew God as a friend and talked to him as such.

Do we realize we have the same opportunity? To know God as a friend in the scriptures? Are you meeting with him? Do you know him as a friend?

I noticed that as soon as Moses leaves the tent, Joshua stays there by himself. He’s learned the important of Face Time with God by watching Moses.
