ACTS 4:13

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

Unschooled and common. That is what the disciples were recognized as.

And yet they were lecturing the High Priest on who Jesus.

It truly is remarkable who God uses to make himself known and worshipped isn’t it?

The boldness and conviction of Peter and John wasn’t because they had something special nobody else had access to. They believed who Jesus was and claimed to be. They were filled with the Holy Spirit. That’s it!

Why not me then? Why not you? Why can’t we change the world if we do the same as they did in humility and courage?

God give us boldness in your Spirit today to testify to the reality of your Son and the grace we have been shown in him. Use us to make disciples who love making your name famous! Amen
