OTHER RESOURCES

These are tools we use on campus on a weekly basis with students. Every field or talent or craft has basic building blocks one needs to master before they can grow and excel in that field. I think of these things as spiritual “basics” every christian needs for them to mature and grow in their faith as Paul says in Colossians 2:6, 7 “Thereforejust as you received Christ Jesus as Lordcontinue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and firm  in your faith just as you were taughtand overflowing with thankfulness.”

This is an illustration we use with students as a simple way of sharing the gospel clearly with someone else. It is based on Romans 6:23 as you can see

Every spring semester we have a 6-8 week class called Joshua Team for students. We pull these above resources together and with the help of upperclassmen leaders, and we train them with these in hopes they would facilitate them to grow closer to Jesus. This is a flyer we used to promote it. Click on it and you can see some of book they get when they sign up and go through Joshua Team!

FAVORITE BOOKS

Below are some of my favorite books that have had a huge impact on me. The first four I recommend to every christian, from there they are in no particular order. There are a lot more books I could’ve added but these really stuck out. There are some other very good books I hope to read soon so the list may change if you stop back later. If you are like me your reading list quickly builds much faster than you can get through them but I hope this is helpful in some way!
